23 Wow...been a month since we have had a chance to add anything on here. Xmas,New Year and school hols have come and almost gone...So, speaking of almost gone is our summer stock. We are doing some sweet deals on our remaining stock, so don't miss out. There has also been some epic waves around lately as evident by this weeks pic. Hope you guys didn't miss out. Yes...rumour mill has been in full swing and we are moving to a much bigger space across the road. Watch out ....it's gunna be HUGE.

7 Finally..........waves !! After weeks of flat spells and black Nor"easters blowing dogs off their chains, we finally have been blessed with quality surf. Hopefully now the sun will stay out for more than one day and everyone can get to the beach or skate park without getting soaked. On the Pro surfing front we have seen the highs and lows all in one week. Andy Irons tragically passing away and the other extreme being Steph Gilmore winning the Rip Curl Search contest and world title number 4 along with Mr Slater doing the same but with a casual 10 titles to his name. Makes you wonder, is he the greatest athlete ever ?? Heaps of new vids to check out in the You Tube section and if you want to grab a copy of our monthly news letter, then join our VIP page....cheers

10 Well if the forecast is correct, there could be some very nice waves around over the next few days. NE swell and westerly winds tend to light up our beaches so fingers crossed crew. 18 Well school hols are just about over and there has been something for everyone. I've been informed that while I was enjoying 30cm of fresh snow with my little gang, there has been waves around town, with boards being broken from guilllotine style lips. We had a huge Crazy Day on the 8th and if you are still after a SUPER bargin, call in and check out the racks. Even boards are reduced if you were one of the unfortunate victims of a North End lip. All new summer 2010 is arriving as well, so there is plenty of fresh styles hitting the racks. I've posted highlights of the Billabong Pro @ Jeffery's Bay on the video page if you haven't caught the latest supertubes action ........as I said,something for everyone.

4 The swell charts are looking promising for waves over these school holidays, with the tip being get out there earlier before these winds get too strong. 5 Well after tornado's up north and driving rain locally, we are starting to see the benefits of this weather with swell. We should have some east swell at first but as these SW winds get stronger the swell will swing more to the south. Hopefully we will get to see some photo's of what's been going on in the next few days. 26 Winter looks like it's finally knocking at the door, so time to think about keeping warm in and out of the water. 7 What's happening?? Well, Easter and the usual crowded surf has seen accidents a plenty. Fractured vertebrae, crushed spleens and bent bodies all due to shallow banks and super low tides. There has been a few broken boards to add to the body count as well. Got a new Jungle Surf TV clip for you of Ben Godwin filmed by Dan Kirkman. Goddo rides for our mates at Analog and has been a stand out in the surf wherever he lobs. A quick shout out to Col Andrews who now sports a neck brace for 6 months and misses out on his G-Land trip next month. Upside is, there will be more waves in town for the early morning crew. cheers...

9 There is finally SWELL.......yeah it's on shore at times but people are getting waves. Check out the "photo of the week" and the You Tube page if you want some idea's as to what you should be riding if you have been surfing main beach in town. Dick van Straalen has sent us one of his quad fin EPS/Epoxy rockets and these things fly according to the likes of Dave Rastovich and co.........So come in and check it out.

27 School hols are over and the world returns to normal.......sort of. As crazy as this sounds we have new Winter 2010 hoodies, jeans and jackets starting to arrive in store. 5 Happy New Year to all. Another year and we are ready to make it a huge one, with more of everything coming your way soon from us here at Jungle surf. There is an awesome video tribute to Joel Parkinson on our You Tube page, produced by Billabong. Mick Fanning was the man at the back half of the WTC season and deserved the title of World Champion but this footage shows how equally deserving Parko would have been, if he had won. Not many waves around town at the moment to get people too amped but fingers crossed we won't have to wait too much longer. Have a great 2010. Cheers.......

10 If anymore stock arrives at Jungle surf, it will be spilling out onto the footpath. We reckon all bases are covered with new boards, swimwear, sunnies and boardies to satify every style. The skate cruiser boards are pumping and the new Sector 9 models have just landed so don't miss out as they won't last. 19 We have all been waiting for it.......King of the Krater '09 DVD is ready and if the preview that Dan sent me is any guide, then it will blow minds. The bike crew wearing helmet cams, scooter dudes doing backflips and skaters attempting to drop into the park from the top of the shelter. Copies available for sale this weekend from the shop. 11 The Drifter is the latest work from film maker Taylor Steel and he has been following Rob Machado around Indonesia for the last year or so. The DVD is arriving next week and the trailer to this epic is loaded for you to have a sneak peak ............it will make you wanna grab your board and get the hell away from this local flat spell. While on that subject, nothing promising in the predictions for waves locally for the next few days so maybe it's time to pull out the mals or if you don't have one, call in and check out the latest deadset wave magnets from Mac Tavish & Walden.......it's that easy.

5 With consistent onshore winds and small swell, we may as well look to the skate park for any sign of action. Brodie Ellis took out the amateur division at King of the Krater and was in the placings for the open final. There is a You Tube clip of what he get's up to around town just loaded. Also Dan is putting the final touches to the King of the Krater DVD which will be out soon. Stay tuned it's awesome.......

28 Mick fanning has won the Rip Curl Search contest and is looking hard to beat now for the World title. The last event will be pipeline and Parko will basically need to win it if he is to be crowned the ASP World champion. 22 Two weeks ago in freezing gale force winds and frequent showers, Dan was busy filming what was going down at Tunners, late one arvo. 20 With King of the Krater approaching fast...... I thought a little action from the local park would be the go to get everybody psyched. Billabong along with Sony, have been conducting these Skate Jam sessions around the major shopping centre's. The swell is predicted to drop and while offshore early Saturday, the wind will kick around to the East. I've loaded a clip from the recently released Billabong movie - Out of the Pond. 9 Another instalment of Jungle Surf TV, The Bull Ring Crew, is locked and loaded on our, You Tube page. On the news front - Tim Matley has just won a random contest in Norway, yeah that's right....Norway. While on holidays in Europe, he jumped a bus for 7 hours then proceeded to brave the freezing conditions and average surf to not only win the contest but also score a free holiday to Morocco.
